Well, it's taken over two years, but suddenly out of the blue, I was offered a FULLY refurbished machine, (and I mean fully refurbished!) which I am now the proud owner of.
I had to pay a high price for it (don't ask!!!), but I didn't mind in the slightest as it is virtually like buying a new one, with a full 1 year's guarantee
