For those fundraising for charities you may be planning to use Just Giving
However you should be aware that Just Giving is a commercial organisation and takes a percentage of all donations (currently 5%) in addition to a payment processing fee:
https://www.justgiving.com/fees/eurl.axd/c712e56a355d4246be74991177efbb12

You may be interested that BT run an equivalent service on a not-for-profit basis as part of their corporate social responsibility programme
They don't deduct any fees so all of the donations go to the charity except for any fees they are charged by the payment processor (credit card etc)
It's callen MyDonate and you can find more info here:
https://www.btplc.com/mydonate/Help/FAQs/FAQsfordonors/index.aspx

If you know anyone planning to raise money for charity please let them know, and get all the cash to where it should go

David
