Hi all,

I am selling my Champion Pub pinball machine,.

It is currently on ebay please go here to see the details:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111394894120?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

It is currently in my dining room which is due to be decorated in a couple of weeks so I would like to sell it as quickly as possible.

I have spent a lot of time and effort restoring the machine and have had all the metal ramps 24ct gold plated. I also completely stripped the playfield, treasure cove polished the playfield, polished / replaced all metal parts, re-built the flippers, cleaned the plastics, fitted a full set of cliffys (I have images prior to fitting the cliffys to show how good the areas were - I wanted to protect them rather than hide any wear).

The playfield has no wear and looks fantastic as does the cabinet although there is a mark on the left hand side 'I' letter - other than that it's very good.

I'd like £2250.00 for the machine from a community member.

Thanks all

Kevin

Good luck with the sale Kevin.
Most people on here will be wanting pictures to look at, sure sounds a sweet machine.

I played this just last night and it's another top shop job by Kevin! I thought he was mental when he said he'd had all the wire forms 24ct gold plated but they really do look good. Not just shiny - you can tell it's gold, not just some yellow zinc electroplate. Stripped, cleaned and given the Treasure Cove treatment, the PF looks new.

Bit of an odd-ball game with the quirky "punch ramps" but with some nicely done themed-related toys like the skipping rope and punch bag. I can't comment too reliably on the gameplay as I'd had about 5 beers at that point so everything was a bit of blur but it all seemed very smooth and fast ;)

I got to play a Champion Pub when I visited John Whitfield a few weeks back. Have to say I really enjoyed it - it'd be on my list to own I reckon.

Thanks for the comments all - as Nedreud mentioned, the machine is located between Guildford and Aldershot. There are images in the ebay ad but I will post images on here too - will try to do so tonight.

Hey Kev, played one of these in France when they first came out!!

Got to say it didn't have 24 ct plated gold though!! Gosh your shops have gone up in the world since we last met!!

Good luck with the sale matey!

Cheers Kev

Hey Kev, good to hear from you - thanks for the good luck wishes!

I read you FT blog by the way - great job!

Did you get what you wanted for it in the end?

My local pub landlord has been asking me to keep an eye out for one. I mentioned this one to him so I wonder if he actually got it?

Ah well. Thanks anyway Kev.

I've still got to send you a couple of pics of your old TAF playfield now that it has been restored. I'll get to it very soon....
