Hi All
Creature was blowing fuse 111- Flashers
Set away to Andy N and he replaced BR4. Flashers & creature mirror now working, but game is having resets.

The strange thing- after 1 reset said check switch 18- I looked at it, and it wasn’t registering in switch test. Replaced the grey plastic cover and it then started to work? Could the switch be grounding on the metal clip to hold the plastic cover on?

Anyway had about 10 games with no resets then in middle of muliball game resets again. Hmmmm

Any ideas?

Sounds like a similar problem I had. It will probably be power/5V to the CPU board. Check the two connectors on the top right side of the power board one of them powers the CPU. Cant remember the exact one. But check both for any bad connections or damage. If not you might have to buy one of these power buffer boards. Phil has them..

Check the 5v voltage on the solenoid board. Compare to the 5v voltage on the mpu board. Just a few hundredths of a volt drop is enough to trigger the reset.

Dirty connectors/ corrosion on the pins usually the cause of this.

If it died in multiball, it may well be due to various solenoids firing at the same time as the flippers.

Thanks all

Reseated the connectors
A few times. One connector a little
Brown on its edge, but pins are OK- no more
Resets in multiball.

Only a switch 61 to reattach now(broken wire) - funny how goes from 100% working to a series
Of things wrong.

Always the way Dave. Without fail. Bloody things

Bought a soldering kit today, fixed the switch.
Pulled the ramps off cleaned the PF underneath, replaced pop bumper bulbs as two were out. Changed flashers for LED- there’s like 13 of them!
Changed GI to LEDs, backbox lights next.
