BSD - Time and date running slow

Played my BSD for the first time in a few weeks this week (Creech has been getting the love) and noticed that the date was nowhere near the current date. Time was out too, but only by a hour so that will have been the BST change . I changed the batteries at Christmas (and the batt holder is off-board) and noticed it then as well but put it down to old batteries

Anyone experienced this or am I losing it?

Be some crystal chip somewhere which is the “clock” for the clock if this is old it might be running slightly out of spec?

I didn't think it was that accurate when new, to be frank. I set games not to display time and date during the attract mode because of that.

I ended up sending mine to someone, already forgotten who
Seemed mad to pay to fix something that most people don't care about but I'd got to the point where I just wanted it to work and I tried so much and was getting nowhere.

Now its perfect! All our wpc games that have clocks are spot on. (Except being an hour out now )

It was worth it as when we had @Jmac s Congo, both would enter Midnight madness at the same time and it was always a worthwhile spectacle
