Hi, can anyone help where to look for this fault? game seems to play fine.

On the magnet selftest mist works fine, but when the playfield lights flash the onto switch goes on/off with them and then says Lamp interference.

any info would be great.

thanks

The reason I ask is that they can be quite glaring and upset that long-throw opto.

If I remember right there should be a shroud around the receiver to stop stray light triggering it.

I had mine up against a window once and the sunlight was enough to trigger it during the day. Had to turn the entire pin 180 degrees!

thanks for the info, the game is not in any direct light but the Opto's Both at each end do have lamps at that are close to them. may try to remove them to see.

thanks

These boards are notorious for being flakey.

I'd suggest a replacement.
