I now have my first machine and really enjoyed getting it working.
I have never tried to repair a machine before but somehow with Google and this forum etc managed to rebuild the Driver boards and change a few bits on the lamp board.
Fixed a tilt fault and even repaired a couple of relays etc.

So I will be restoring the above table now it works but I fancy having a go at another.
1980 onwards in non working order.

What do you have?

Please pm me

Got a dr dude I'm looking for about £420 on.
Bad points - string of GI out, fuse and possibly transistor blowing on aux board , though I may or may not have half fixed that, haven't retested yet - it may well be something under the playfield causing it im not totally sure yet.Small wear at magnet, few chipped plastics etc.. Needs rubbers / shopping too.
Good points - cab pretty respectable, very bright and unfaded still. Playfield overall pretty decent, flippers rebuilt already. Mpu fully working and very clean, no acid or bad hacks etc. displays good, sound board fine etc.

Overall this boots and plays a game but blows a solenoid fuse on the aux board, not far off being a worker. Should look quite half decent once shopped.

Located in surrey, pretty near gatwick.

Thanks Grizz,

A nice machine for sure and I', sure it will be snapped up fast but I have been bitten by the repairing bug a little.
Its a great feeling to get a pin working again after its been sat unused for so long.

I would rather by a second machine with several; faults to keep me busy when I need time away from the Vector resto.

Cheers for the offer though mate

A great machine would be a Stern CSI as I like the game. Finding a broken or project one of these is unlikely though.

Any bally/Williams 1980+ machines are preferred.

ok, So I have to travel to Leeds soon.

Anyone have a pin in that area for sale? make the trip worthwhile?

Please pm me.
