Hoping to get the BW100 along to the NLP this year..
When I got it, was filthy dirty with broken parts but the game played and I had sound..
After taking apart and giving it a going over it plays but i have no sound.
This is problem 1.
I am getting amplifier hum thay I can turn up and down with the volume pot..
The sound board passes its led flash tests.
The background and attract sound menu items are turned on..
Speakers are connected.
No music or reving engines.

The game played for a while then I let the children have a go.. The top fith flipper stopped working and was blowing fuse 1 power to solenoids.. Everything else was playable..
The solenoid has 44v at its lug.. There is an eos swith and 2 diodes. On removing the diodes one was found to be shorted.
Replaced both diodes, (both banded sides going to centre lug as before) and the wires.
The fuse no longer blows, but the game now doesnt play.
Its in freeplay and on pressing start says blackwater 100 and puts up double zero score for player 1. The ball eject now doesnt fire up nor any of the flippers. The start gate and drop targets all reset. Its as if the game doesnt know its started.
Tested all the voltages on the power board and all correct.
The optos in the ball trough are seeing each ball in switch test mode..
Ive had the mpu board off and checked the tip transistors and they all seem to be giving the same values..
Did the dirty test grounding the transistor tabs to earth and most fire a solenoid but some dont and may be unused or are flash lamps..
Im running out of time and patience with it now.

Help reqd apply within..
Thanks.
