Thinking about trading my Black Rose.
Only got it a couple of months ago, primarily as a project for me and my mate to get stuck into. That's half the fun for me.
It was pretty sorry cosmetically when we got it but we've rescued her.
Before and after pics can be found in user albums.
We fully stripped it and cleaned each individual part, polished all the visible screw heads and bolts and gave the pf the treasure cove treatment. We cleaned all the ball troughs, vuk cups and subways.
New balls, full black rubber kit and left flipper coil, fixed the sub which had 2 large capacitors on it stopping it from working, fixed a few switches and generally got her back to full health.
The cabinet is nice and unfaded both sides, the right side has very slight fading. There are a few scuffs which is to be expected.
The front of the cab has obviously at some stage been forced, presumably to break off a security bar as the inside is splintered and the front has been filled and painted black. This is now fading and cracking and covers some of the art work and will need to be refilled and painted if it bothers you. I can send pics of this on request.
The black legs are in excellent condition with no chips or marks.
There is one error on start up which is switch 16, right trough. This is a brand new switch and just requires some adjustment. It matters not to the game so ive left it.
There is insert wear to sink ship letters and a few others, and the front of the cannon where the housing meets the pf, see pics for details. A couple of plastics with corners snapped but the slingshots are fine and now have bullet washers to protect them, some of the plastics have discoloured slightly yellow but im being picky.
It's a great pick up and play pin, not deep but still challenging.
I'm looking to trade if possible but would sell if you wanted.

Not fussed about cab or a bit of insert wear on the pf, as long as it doesn't look like a bare sheet of ply!!
