I am unable to remove these bolts/screws from my Roadshow machine using a CR-V type bit.

A CR-V6mm is too small but the 7mm is too big and just spins. Doing it at an angle won't budge it.

Am I just being thick or are these some kind of manufacturer security screw?

Is there a difference between sae and imperial or is it the same thing?

Maybe when it comes to things like volume but in the case of nut drivers it's the same I think  Imperial is the UK name for measuring in inches (and fractions of) and SAE is the US name (Standard American English) for measuring the same....this is what I think anyway, I could be wrong :D

Doh! I should have figured that out.

No wonder the 6mm was too small and the 7mm was too big - 1/4" is 6.35mm.
