Bally Viking ...Power Supply

Hi All

I have replaced the power transformer board with a Rottendog one from Big Daddy, the issue is I have TP1 is reading 6.5 volts instead of 5.4V
TP is OK, TP3 is showing 15 volts instead of 11.9V, TP4 is OK and TP5 is showing 47V instead of 43 volts.... I am wondering can the power supplies themselves become an issue and start to fail?

your multimeter may be a bit out if it's a cheap model,also are those voltages tested with the connectors on or off,under load they may go down

Ah...it was a 30 quid one from maplins, everything was plugged in... though not doing anything as I have a solid green LED at the moment.... though it did flash a couple of times the other day frustratingly !
