Bally Vector transformer?

Hi Peoples, new to this forum but NOT new to pinball... need to resurect the old Vector (I've owned it for ~ 30 yrs)

It was fully working ~3yrs ago - got stored in garage & got SERIOUSLY VERY wet...

Please - anyone got sugggestions for source/supply of E-122-124 main transformer? (or suitable equvalent)?

I think you mean E-122-142.

Transformers are normally very resilient have you dried it and tried it out?

Hi Moonraker - thanks for your msg... drying it out? - well it could soon do that itself - it's smoking & bubbling the potting compoud quite merrily!!!
The resurection was going fine - back-up batt replaced, most lights & solenoids responded to test sequencing, squwark part functional but no photons from out the nixies... couple of R's burnt out on the 190V psu block - replaced said R's & Tr's on psu... that set the transformer smoking etc...
Might isolate main case pwr board & test reg & rectumfrier devices there as none of the supply output fuses are blowing.... cheers.

Sounds like it's knackered, good luck in the search for a replacement. Your best bet is probably ebay. Flag your title with wanted and add the E-122-142 in to the title in place of the question mark.
