Peeps I have a rusted out part on my 1981 speakeasy.

Had a wee browse on the usual UK vendors but can’t locate it.
Perhaps the search term is wrong.

It’s so badly rusted it’s not worth trying to save.

Anybody have one to sell or point me where I could get one?

Cheers

AL

That will clean up no problem, no need to replace it.

remove it and either use evaporust, or just sandpaper the rust off.

Polish it - using either a tumbler or by hand using autosol

Thanks Alan
The picture makes it look better than it is though.
The back end where it’s screwed to the cabinet is stuffed.

I’ve brought some the parts back using a similar method but
Can’t on this.

as it's only a piece of bended metal, if you don't want to clean up the rust, you should be able to remove the old one and fabricate a new one youself, all you need is a vice and drill and a piece of metal cut to the right size

The ones on our centaur were rusted like that if not worse. Evaporust and sandpaper sorted them.

It was so bad the display trays screws were rusted into the wood

What have you got against cleaning up your existing one?
I saw your post on FB saying how advice to use Evaporust was unhelpful, which is rather rude..I can only assume you have your reasons, I'm just curious as to what they are?

These were mine, which came up like new after a night in a small takeaway box of Evaporust and either a tumbler or sandpaper/polish (it's been a while)
