Sold Bally Nitro Ground Shaker £450 - fully working

Nice Early Bally - Complete in good working order - have a manula somewhere - need to check
- Electrics, Electronics, Solenoids, Sounds, Displays, plastics all good.
- Has latest free play rom installed and memory capacitor
- Excellent Backglass
- Cab has been painted in "house friendly" beige (!!)
- Playfield has seen better days (!) - nothing to hide - please see pics

- if you're looking for a "cosmetic only" project or a donor cab for re-theme, this would be a good option IMO. The backglass must be worth something for someone.
Could be the basis of an interesting re-theme here. The sanding of the playfield has been partly done already :D

It's a shame about the artwork, but I played this machine about a year ago and I remember it played pretty nicely. Also yes, the backglass was a very nice example!
 
I have seen this game. The backglass is absolutely stunning and in fantastic condition

How much are you selling yours for Dave, and what's the condition? - just wondering if parts from both machines would make a really nice machine - I'm happy to split parts accordingly if someone wants to do this.
 
Although the OP doesn't seem to mind, it's bad form to spam someone else's for sale post with your own (I know you've been requested to Dave). Please create a separate FS ad.

I must stress I'm not being ****y here I just don't want this to be seen as acceptable when it (inevitably) happens in someone elses FS thread.
 
Hi Guys - thanks for clarifying - As it turns out, there could be a happy ending here? :)

If someone wants it, I'd be happy to swap the backglass I have for another for a reasonable agreed fee. Obviously, I'd prefer to sell the whole game with min hassle though.
Just thinking of possible trades etc - e.g. someone on the forum offered me £300 for my NGS. I'd be happy to sell it for that if I got £150 for the BG swap.
As always - first to hand over the cash gets the goods etc - Just musing on a possible win-win for someone, so maybe no harm done (hopefully) this time.

what would the chances be of getting new transfers for the cabinet and backbox? NG was the first pin I owned many years ago and I do have a hankering after restoring one ...
 
seems to be one good groundshaker out of 2 here. Im still trying to put together a collector condition star trek 25th out of 6!

You should be able to get more than one machine out of the six.
I'd be interested in a ST 25th again if it's possible to make more than one decent machine from six.
 
There will be 5 for sale. Just can't get a perfect example together. Backglass tends to be the downer. Not prioritising data east games at moment though
 
Still for sale - If someone is just interested in Backglass, £150 takes it (I can re-use most of it for other things I want to do).
 
Perfect project to use my custom controller board set in and rewrite the rules or create your own game from. Classic Bally layout

Spooky - Have just emailed Moz with exactly that !!
Moz, you could buy the machine, sell the CPU board, sound board and BG. With the money left over you could buy the new controller and make a new BG.
Not sure you would get many opportunities like this which are as local to you!
For a retheme, there are quite a few opportunities for improvement IMO.
Here's some thoughts - Lane Change, the lights in the V used for some sort of Timed bonus (or fuel left)
and a possible multiball (lock in left hole)

Just some feedback......Tumble weed for weeks - only £150 offered by a few early birds (thanks but too low - sorry)....then all of a sudden, loads of messages recently wanting to buy at the price asked o_O
(Sold to someone not on this forum)
