I am rebuilding the flippers on my 1982 Bally with new parts. Given the damage caused by the grub screws biting into the old flippers, I have treated it to new flipper bats as well so that I can set things up properly

Do you know if there is a recommended gap between the underside of the flipper bat and the top of the flipper bearing pls ? Williams used to quote one for their later games and even sold a little adjustment tool like a fork

I was just going to make one out of an old credit card as I think that is about right

Thanks
