Okay - noticed that Mr Pagget got £2K for his Kiss on ebay, so this one is getting listed.
The issues are:
Board controlling the KISS letters has a fault (worked fine yesterday and not today - could be something minor).
Main CPU board previously has had damage, but as it has a MyPinballs sticker dated 0709 - I assume this is July 2009, that Jim sorted this out. The battery is newish and still got plenty of life in it.
The sound board works however the tune it plays is wrong. Very 'Les Dawson' in places. I have re-capped this board no no avail. So I assume its going to need some more work (suggest changing the PIA chips first).....
As with all pinballs this age - the lamp holders are not the best.
The backglass is great condition but is the German one. The playfield is the american one.
All the solenoids work, and the game is very playable. The lights all work with the exception of the KISS letters I have already pointed out.
Approx 25 of the GI and control lamps have been changed to comet LEDs.
Nice plastic set. Nice bumper covers.
Normally I would do the work mystelf - but at the moment I am working from my bands rehearsal room and we start back in just over a week..... I repair enough pinballs every week so would rather have it gone quick, as I do not want to be repairing pinballs at night as well. Too many other projects on with jukeboxes as well.
