Bally Bobby Orr Power Play - change 3 ball to 5

Hello,

You'll need to remove the backglass and open the wooden panel behind it to reach the circuit boards, so turn the machine Off, but leave it plugged into the socket. Then touch the grounded metal side rails to discharge any static.

The Mpu board is fitted upper left inside the back box, with a green l.e.d., and a battery on its lower edge*. It has four blocks, each of eight tiny switches, making 32 in all. Counting from top to bottom upwards, No.16 for Balls Per Game is the uppermost of the second block, so move the slider to the left to (hopefully) make contact. Then power the machine up again; during the start-up sequence the pattern of all 32 switches is read and becomes the operating basis for the program.

Bally games usually have information cards stapled inside the back box, detailing many of the options selectable using the switches.

* that's for the original equipment circuit board; an 'Alltek' replacement is smaller, but still has the four 8-switch blocks for game options.
