Ball Swirls

Cleaning up an I500 for someone and I want it to look as nice as it can, problem is I'm struggling to make any headway into removing the swirls and ground in dirt.

I've tried novus 2 and 3 and whilst 3 isn't bad at removing the ball trails, it won't touch the swirls and I can only rub so hard before my fingerprints start to burn off.

What's going to be the best and safest approach to bring this playfield back to its former glory?

The best way to remove ball swirls is magic eraser and IPA. Go VERY easy as I'm sure you're aware. One minute everything's going great. The next thing you're through to the white primer!!! Easily done. Done it myself :-(

Use novus 2 to remove the magic eraser residue as that is stubborn in itself.

Vids guide will recommend Magic Eraser and Isopropyl Alcohol. I tried it on some of the good parts of my PARAGON playfield and it worked really well. No need to press hard unlike buffing with Novus. Slowly and gently - ME is deceptively tough stuff!

Seems as though we have finally discovered Magic Eraser (melamine foam) here in the UK this year with several big brand names launching there own versions, but you can find it cheap-as-chips in your local budget store. I have a Range nearby that stocks Duzzit Sponge Eraser, a box of 4 for £1. Bargain!
