I would like to suggest that for sale threads auto delete after a pre determined amount of time say 6 to 8 months from original post. If the item has genuinely still not sold then the seller can create a new listing.

We wouldn't be able to see historic sales then? I've always found it useful when researching a Pin.

Maybe auto-change the tag to Expired.

Perhaps a ‘likely expired - check with seller’. The seller can always switch it back again.

It would be just nice that when a user filters to for sale there might be a few pins for sale

We had that functionality in the "New classifieds", however no-one liked it.

Personally for me it makes things much easier as theres less moderation needed - but it is what it is. People didnt like it, threatened to take business elsewhere..... after all, this place exists because of the support and charity of it's users..

Problem is Paul - if people cant be bothered to change from "for sale" to "sold", what are the chances they will change the status twice??!!
