Sound's gone on FT, been flaky for a while. Done the reseating cables, pushing chips etc. to no avail. Pretty certain it's the sound board so to check I was going to take out the board from Black Rose to try.

Looking at the manual the part no for FT is A-12738-50005, BR is A-12738-20013. Would it work?

The last 5 are the model number of the machine.... 20013 is BR, 50005 i would guess is FT...

I would do a visual and if they both look the same... however i would suggest someone confirming this before you do :)

Cheers Paul, didn’t know that. Just googled A-12738 & they are being sold as replacements for FT & BR. Just need to get to it as it’s tombstoned behind a tombstoned JY!

The 'Wpc' audio pcb was used from Funhouse (though the earliest examples of this had the System 11 audio board) through to Twilight Zone, so the boards from Fish Tales and Black Rose will be interchangeable. The only audio board failure I encountered with Wpc games was with a Black Rose (one of the rectifier diodes shorted). After repair, I carried it with me since there weren't any compatible games in the workshop at the time and the first opportunity to try it was in a FunHouse. It was odd to hear the Black Rose pirate sounds coming from FunHouse

Re. the model numbers - later on, the 2nd & 3rd digits were used to show where the machine was originally destined for. #10## was the U.K., #13## was Holland, and I think #07## was France
