At what point do you class yourself as having beaten a game or it having finally beaten you ?

For those who’s primary goal is to progress through a game and hopefully maybe just one day have ‘beaten it’ at what point do you class yourself as victorious (Main wizard mode?) or defeated? (No longer having fun?)

Defeated to me is main wizard mode completed (if it has a completion objective, some can go on indefinitely until you lose the mb or whatever, so for those just getting to wizard mode). I don’t count super wizard modes, those are added extra, possibly never achieved.

That said I wouldn’t keep a game just to get to the wizard mode if I wasn’t enjoying it. Until recently I thought I’d never get rid of a game until 1.0 code but I’ve had a couple that I either really didn’t enjoy or was just bored of and didn’t want to keep for another year just to see the wizard modes.

I’ve never got close to beating any game, all games defeat me, but when you can’t be bothered to turn it on even for the light show and to hear the music, it’s time to go 😜
They all get me like that quite quickly , some u miss and get again years later but without money and space they’re all doomed
