Is there anyone out there with an ST:TNG willing to take a meter reading at TP8 on the driver board and tell me what they get?

I'd be particularly interested if anyone has a rebuilt board with new bridge rectifiers and associated capacitors.

On my board (with original components) I have a steady 17v, then a fluctuating 14.6v - 18.2v when the flashers operate.

Many thanks
David

Hi David

In test flasher only I get a constant 18.2v if I have all lamp plus flasher I get 14.4 to approx 17. I will leave the machine open if you need any further info (original non modified power pcb)

That's brilliant Andrew, thank you so much, that's just the kind of pattern I see.
Do you get any resets on your game?

Would be very interested to hear from anyone with new components on to see if they get different

David

No problem, not had any resets but I would install a 5v rebuild kit as the bridge rectifiers do play up and the caps go leaky, I would do mine but haven't got round to it yet
