Anyone Understand Java ? Trying to Run a CD Rom With Images on it ....

Had a MRI scan. Was given a CD Rom. It looks like the programme on the CD Rom that you use to view the images was produced by the MRI Scan manufacturer (GE). It is called CDVIEWER and has a GE logo.

When trying to look at the images I get the following message on both computers I tried ....

"This application requires Java 1.5 or higher Runtime Environment. Pls install Java from CD/ DVD 1.5.0

Does anyone know what I need to do to view this stuff pls. We are all expert epidemiologists right now, so I might as well become an expert bone Dr as well.

Hi David

Try this;

1) Go to Oracle downloads page https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase/javase9-archive-downloads.html

2) Download JRE exe, you should not need the JDK.

That is what I did to get the same data off the CD but on a MAC.
