For this - it's to hold the apron on my Stern Star Trek Pro, top sheared off while I was tightening the nut.

Will you not need a T-Nut thing as well if its snapped off somewhere?

Yeah just had a look, seems to be the only one on that page that doesnt list a part number.

No - T-nut still there, it is just the top thread where the nut attaches. post comes out easily enough.
