stumbled across these led's on google. anyone seen or have them, opinions naff or cool?

Yup done it on my T2 (in red). I think it looks pretty smart, easy plug and play. Hardest bit was taking 2 screws off to get them inside the speakers. Not the best photo but you can get an idea of how it looks:

Yup, I'd suggest getting a few more parts from them though while you're there. Shipping is expensive!

I'd of thought the reflection on the Playfield glass would be to much.

Me too. It would distract me too much.

Don't even notice it to be honest, don't think the angle is right for it to reflect. I will have a look at some point and see if it does.
