Right the new games room should be ready in about 4 weeks so just testing the water looking for 2 pinballs to get the ball rolling don't have to be collectors condition just gotta be working fine don't care about condition of cabs etc gonna throw a few arcades in there as well eventually. Will be ready for them in about 4-5 weeks time so looking to get a few deals tied up so hit me with any you know of. No internet at home at the minute so might take time to reply. Pins ideally want to be from the 90,s upwards

Whoa, fresh meat in the coliseum madhouse

Hit him with your shagged backglasses, warped playfields, delaminating plywood, impossible to replace ramps, loose inserts, faded cabs, dying dmds, scratched glasses, rusty legs, mysterious pop bumper - hunt the diode problems, corroded internals, intermittent optos, 5v drop .... :suspect:

Triple prices, triple pink gins all round. Who needs eBay to administer a good shillin' ?

;)

On a more serious note, how about attending the uk pinball party in Wales ? Might be a few on the shelves there and you will be able go to see a wide range of games.

Yup, it is often forgotten there are many collectors out there who don't use these forums, eBay, yahoo etc etc. I remember last year when LOTR was climbing again in popularity, none available online but there was 2 for sale at the Daventry (now Wales) show.

Don't think ill be able to convince the misses to spend the weekend buying pinballs she doesn't even know bout the games room yet.ideally one without any of them problems will do

A long post but bear with me - about asking for 'permission'. A few years back I was 'running by the missus' my plans for having a week away with the 'boys' at the next Euros. My son (around 12 at the time):
"What are you talking about?"
ME: "The Euros"
Son "When are they?"
ME "Next year"
Son "That's ages away"
ME "Let me give you some advice son that will stand you in good stead in the future. If you want to 'persuade' someone (usually your better half) to let you do something, mention it when it's ages away and as it seems so distant they're more likely to go along with it"
Son "Can I have a car when I'm 17?"
