Hi
Just went to do some soldering and the tip is cold. I assume its just the heating element. 27Vac to earth, and the three conductors connected to the element i have infinite resistance, where i would expect a working tip to have a low resistance :-(
Anyone know where i can get spares for this? A very good friend gave me this iron and i want to keep it going if i can.
It is part of a digital station, it is 24v 45W.
Any help greatly appreciated please
