Now SW has gone and my Virtual pin project is on hold awaiting more parts from Canada. I find myself with some space and cash, I'm looking for something else to get my teeth into. Does anyone have anything needing some love? I quite enjoy basket case projects too.

There
WAS a Bally Hi Lo Ace for about £175 buy it now,but it went

Prob be on epay for £500 tomorrow:(

I have a nightmare on elm street that needs some love indeed, Would be great for someone to fix it as it is above me, only my second pin!

Aye the circuit boards look like new, freddy needs love elsewhere thankfully. Optos are the main thing needing sorting, and yesterday I managed to do something so the game won't start up. I have been struggling with it for months now and would love it if someone else could resurrect him as think I'm too in experienced to do him justice.

It wont start if it dont see all the balls, check the switch test to ensure it sees all trough balls

Is the. Game booting correctly?? If not you may need to measure voltage to boards and adjust the 5v pot on power supply board

It was working almost fully when I was touching the optic board trying to force a connection on one of the optics. Now when i turn it on the gi lights light up but no high pitched beep or anything else. I checked every fuse and think it's maybe a power supply issue. But think someone like tyke, with more experience may have a better chance of solving these riddles. I always seem to fix him then break him again in new and fascinating ways!

Pudsey that sounds like great advice, however it's parts like this that I freak out about due to learning offa youtube and the likes. Don't want freddy to kill me!

Scotland , I'm waiting to hear back when the Scottish league is starting so I can meet other pinball peeps. I've only got a couple of online friends who give me amazing advice but sadly don't yet know any local pinball fans. Pinball is a very lonely hobby for me, know any Scottish peeps?

I ve talked to John online but haven't yet been able to make it to any northern meets.
