Does anyone know of a good place please that gives lasting results ?

Service levels vary enormously and some places do it properly- fill rims, heat and reshape, reprofile if need be etc etc

I use powder coaters that refub rims, but they don't weld & reshape so if that's any good let me know. I haven't used anyone else who I can recommend, they're West Mids which maybe a bit far from you.

Stretching the Midlands definition a bit but I used this place a few years ago to straighten and refurb 2 buckled alloys (pothole damage and kerb rash) Very good service, wheels looked like new. One I used as a spare, the other Is still in the garage but they still look very good

I used the wheel specialist in manchester a lot, with good results, believe they're a franchise so quality may be the same across the board
