Airbnb v Booking.com

We prefer self catered flats to hotels and have used Airbnb for years.

I have just booked a week away. For a week in the same city centre apartment in Naples, it was cheaper on Booking.com - and you get a free taxi from the airport to the property. Supposedly the driver tracks incoming arrivals and then meets you in arrivals. The return journey is optional, but at your own cost.

I'm on Genius level 2 (i think) on booking.com. You get 15% off everything. I have trust issues with Airbnb and some real horror stories. There is also the legal issues of them allowing hidden cameras even in the bedrooms which is not something I'd be happy with. Apparently some of them have them hidden in the terms and conditions and by agreeing to them you agree to the hidden cameras. Don't fancy being on PornHub next week.
