After great deliberation, we've preordered an MMR Merlin edition and am looking for six months with a temporary pin before it gets delivered (or more if CGC don't get their posterior into gear).

Thus, our AFM is up for sale in the meantime.

It previously belonged to @Matt Vince, and is super fast and smooth. Plays like an Iron Man. Had a fuse problem when it first arrived, but hasn't missed a beat since.

It's got a VERY faded cab (see pictures) with some cab damage at the top of the backbox (again, see picture).

The playfield is lovely - in excellent condition, given the age of the pin.

Since purchasing, I've added:
  1. Pinsound;
  2. A huge Pin2DMD HD screen with colour and speaker lights;
  3. The UFO Pinball mini-saucer and expansion kit (https://www.ufopinball.com/);
  4. Done a full clean, re-rubber with Titans (I think - that or Perfect Play), and addition of green Col plastic protectors;
  5. Flipper toppers and a coin door plaque;
  6. A TESLA Tower (pun intended) VUK cover;
  7. CPR mirrored backglass (forgot about that).
One of the UFO Pinball little saucers has two spinning LED lights out - I have a replacement wiring loop floating about that UFO Pinball chap sent me that I never got around to fitting as it was cosmetic.

With a full cab restore, someone would try to sell it for £9k, I'm sure.

I'm also open to trades.

Martin will be dropping by to pick up my Fish Tales when he gets back from holiday - so, give me a shout and he can collect this lovely example of an AFM (except for the cab) too.

Does it come with the original sound board and speaker grill/DMD bit?
I'll need to check what I did with the soundboard and speaker grill, but - to be honest - if you wanted to swap out the colour screen it'd be a bit odd as it's simply better (as is the grill with new speakers attached).

I will have sold the original orange DMD.

I don't want to put off buyers but, in general, if you're old school about Bally-Williams, machines that come out my house probably aren't the best option because I do tend to LED literally everything (inc. adding flashers - CONTROVERSIAL) and add the equivalent of under-car lighting and go-faster stripes. It's very rare a pin stays with that nostalgic 90s smoky-back-of-the-pub feel and, if I don't think I can sell something, it's probably either in the bin or tossed in the cellar somewhere :) This is meant nicely - there is usually a lot to take OFF if you don't like 'improvements' :)

I am the person who owned a Flash Gordon with LEDs, a movie soundboard and a gold sparkly paint job - horrifying Classics fans everywhere. So, you are going to get something of an 'upgraded with new tech' vibe :)

All that said, I'll check what older stuff came off the machine that's still around :)
