Advice on upgrading speakers on sterns

hi all ,

ive got some Ballys that are being upgraded by the pin sound speakers by @Ant-H on the forum, ive previously had speakers upgraded by Chris b with JBL speakers . I know Keith at new forrest does speaker upgrade kits etc and pin sound also do a kit for stern so question is with Foo Fighters docking in soon im wanting to give it a sound upgrade ....what shall I use people ?

Im tempted by pin sound has anyone used them for stern or are they overpriced ?

not sure pin sound works on spike 2.

but from my POV get the kenwood speaker upgrade from pinball life is perfect

I have the Kenwoods on my Star Wars and they sound really good!

I've bought the 5.25" speaker plates and JBL Stage 2 524 speakers ready for when my FF arrives.

I can also recommend the Kenwood S1366 5.25 inch speakers, sound great and good value too

All over the counter Stern Spike upgrades are too expensive.

Stern stock speakers are absolute junk.

Been doing my own for years using car speakers and replacement amps.

Under £130 and they knock your socks off.
The line out pin outs are easy enough to get direct off the spike CPU Node boards in the backbox.
Use the usual 2.1 amps American pinball and Heighway/Pinball bros have.
Car stereo 2 way speakers in the backbox
Lyle or similar sub woofers.
