I am selling my restored Addams family pinball machine, please see below for details:

Original (not reproduction) playfield - when I got the machine this was the best example of an original Addams playfield I had seen by far and I wanted to keep it that way so I had it ceramic clear coated - it's very hard to tell from the images but the finish is incredible!

There is no wear or burns to the playfield and no wear to the scoops or shooter lane- it is perfect!

Restoration work - playfield
  • Cleaned entire wiring loom
  • Cleaned all coils
  • Cleaned and polished all switches
  • Re-built pop bumpers
  • Cleaned and polished all metal ramps and ball guides
  • Cleaned and polished all posts, nuts, bolts, screws etc
  • Cleaned and polished all plastic ramps (including subway)
  • Cleaned and polished all plastics (appoximately 50% of plastics replaced)
  • Replaced parts as required during the re-build process (switches, coils etc)
  • Sprayed the large metal ball catch bin (the one on underside of the playfield) gold
  • Lots of other cleaning and polishing which I'm struggling to remember!

Restoration work - cabinet
The cabinet was in excellent original condition with a few very minor marks so I decided to leave it in order to keep it as original as possible externally (since the playfield is also original) but I did carry out some work to the inside of the cabinet:
  • Cleaned entire cabinet inside and out
  • Installed new main base painted in purple
  • Added Addams family decal!
  • Coin door powder coated and polished bolts fitted (by previous owner)
  • Polished lockdown bar (by previous owner)

Modifications
The machine has the following modifications:
  • Colour DMD
  • Ultra bright LED kit fitted
  • LED GI lighting fitted
  • Uncle Fester Mod (further modified with the addition of a book which he is reading!)
  • Uncle Fester LED scoop mod - red
  • Swamp LED scoop mod - green
  • Vault LED scoop mod - red and green - changes as per current vault mode
  • middle ramp LED mod - green
  • Bookcase mod - illuminated bookcase added
  • Train wreck train model with fibre optic lighting
  • Thing LED mod
  • Rear playfield LED strip mod (blue)
  • Topper LED mod (blue)
  • Cousin IT multi colour LED
  • Remote battery holder

There will be other items which I have forgotten but in summary this is a fantastic Addams which is mint and needs no work at all!

I am asking £5,000.00 for the machine.

Photos to follow shortly

Playfield images (they do not do the playfield justice - any 'marks' are reflections - the playfield is mint!

I want this it's so perfect. Just paid for my GB Premium though, so will miss out.

Some lucky so and so is going to get a great deal on this.

Well done on the restoration.

i've seen and played this, could see Kev twitching in his snooker gloves as my grubby fingers sweated on the flipper buttons. it truly is a thing of beauty and i don't believe there can be a better example of the game in existence. Kev is an obsessive perfectionist and will have put literally hundreds of hours into this (plus probably 2 or 3 actually playing it). i've bought two off him before, buy with confidence people :)

Thanks for the comments. Haha @cooldan , perhaps I could ask people to wear a spare pair of snooker gloves when they play my machines - top idea!

I freakin love the fact that Kev wears snooker gloves when handling machines it proper makes me smile. The world needs more Kevs

I have no idea whether the white gloves thing is true or not. Would be a shame to let the truth stand in the way of a good story though.

Looks a real beauty añd THE definitive 90s pinball machine

How'd you get that thing on top of the n? looks wicked

Edit: snooker gloves, real? Haha come off it. Anyone else who's been to Kev's place can confirm. That it's not.

Sorry to have scared you @Mfresh !

It's good to see the gloves getting some attention! I wear white cotton gloves when I handle any of my machines (e.g. removing the glass) to prevent any finger prints. I'm afraid I don't wear them when I play to prevent finger prints to the buttons (well not that I'll admit to it on here anyway!!!).

Thanks @newdos . What are you working on machine-wise at present?
Just Moved house Kev so all machines in storage until I build a very large shed, which will be a workshop and a games room. I am still working on the rotten demo man i got as a challenge which is about 70% done now and the shop log is on here bud

Cheers Kev

I don't know what you are pi$$ing about at Kev. Looked like it just needed a wipe down with a damp cloth and then a smidge of Novus 2. :D
