I'm working on a topper for AcDc, as much for my own practice at designing things as any other purpose, but i need some assistance.

I need to know:

• The dimensions of the top of the backbox
• The pitch of the top of the backbox.
• If there are any mounting holes/screws on the top panel, that could be used for fixing any topper.
• If there are any holes on the backbox where a cable could enter to get power from
• A photo inside the backbox to ascertain where power could be taken from (only need 5v, but I can also work with 12v)

As you can see from the attached diagram, pretty much the only dimension it doesn't show is the depth of the backbox.

AC/DC was released and re-released over many years. I'm pretty sure the back box changed from wood to metal in that time so answers to your questions might depend on which version you're interested in.

I'll take any and all versions and see what is common between them, especially the depths of the back box

Those look rockin! I reckon you’ll shift a few units, especially if they bong (or could be used as bongs).

I miss my ACDC prem, will certainly have another back in the fleet/stable/collection one day. Thunderstruck still my fave followed by a Long Way to the Top (bagpipe solo) and of course the one about the big biker chick. Is that the one that starts “she was a fax machine…”? Whole Lotta Rosie. Of course.

I never did work out how to use the button on the lockbar. The only one I ever twiggged was on Black Rose. But I’m rambling now la la Di da
