During gameplay it sounds like one of the coils is rapid firing randomly. Almost like it's gone into ball search or is firing all the standup targets back up again.

It's hard to pinpoint if it's the same coil, and if so, which one. Any tips please?

Glass off & watch closely to determine which coil it is, look for the switch that triggers that coil - see if that switch needs opening up slightly. (I’ve had it on a scoop/saucer where the switch was stuck under the playfield so always though a ball was present so therefore kept firing the eject coil.

Thanks, I'll take a look. I wonder if it's the scoop at the back of the playfield

Finally got round to having a look at this. Looks like it's the target bank trying to fire the targets up when they are already standing? Anyone had a similar issue?

Are these drop targets or standup targets? I’m not familiar enough with AC/DC but my WPT once needed a screw on the bracket of the drop target bank replaced as it had been over torqued and snapped so had worked loose against where the coil hit the plunger so the bank of targets wouldn’t pop back up consistently. Other than that does it use an opto board? Maybe faulty?

Pretty sure I had this on my acdc with the TNT drops, just needed the connector on the back of them reseating to fix mine.
