So I’ve had this tombstoned at home for over 2 years with the intention of making a nice one at some point. In the meantime I was offered a nice one so bought that and now keep getting disapproving/disappointed looks from my wife why we have two of the same pin in the same room
. It’s time for it to depart…
Being totally honest I’ve not put much time or play into this pin and only turned it on last Friday for the first time in 2 years. You should expect to have to tinker with it - it’s not been play tested for hours and hours but observations below. On the plus side loads of new parts with it.
The good
I put a new MPU in it from Nevin which gets rid of the old board with leaky battery issue
Cabinet is solid but has some dings
You can start and play through a game - drops/pops/slings all working etc
Backglass is lovely condition
Displays all working and nice and bright
Manual included
Loads of new parts come with the pin which I spent a fair bit on:
Brand new set of legs/levellers/bolts from PH
Brand new full plastic set from classicplayfields
Rebuild kits for all 3 flippers
Brand new pop skirts and caps
Brand new full set of drop target plastics with correct printing on
New Bally coin door sticker
New shooter rod
Full set of stencils if you want to redo the cabinet to brand new
The Bad
Playfield lets it down as worn to bare wood in places and some touch ups by previous owner not great.
You’ll need a complete new rubber kit as existing one is cracked and perished.
A few lights on the playfield not working ie the ‘x’ in deluxe for example
Missing the bolts to fix down the head to cabinet.
I had to drill the lock on the coin door when I got it so you’ll need a new one.
For an unknown reason the pops have fathom caps on but new ones included.
Price is £1950 ono to reflect it’s a working game with loads of brand new expensive parts inc MPU
Martin is actually here tomorrow afternoon if someone wanted to get it on the road to them quickly
Any questions pm me
