Facebook has kindly reminded me that it was 4 years ago today that I was in Lincoln buying my first pinball machine, a project Bally PARAGON, assisted by the very helpful @Dave2084. Wow, how time flies.
I know, I know... I still haven't finished the restoration. The problem is called kids. And a wife. And work. And DIY. And fitting a new kitchen. And replacing 75m of garden fence. And don't you even think about mentioning my f***ing car...
But on the plus side, I have saved 3 Bally solid-state era pinball machines from being parted-out (PARAGON, GOLD BALL and MR & MRS PAC-MAN), and provided the perfect reference to @astyy for the restoration of another Bally classic: VECTOR
Space is a bit of an issue that hampers me from working on my pins as my 3-pin man-cave has hit capacity. But I've come up with a plan. Rather than do nothing with 3 machines, a friend is letting me store 2 of them in his industrial unit so I can have plenty of space to work on just one. Result! More pinporn to follow soon...
