Sold 2008 Stern CSI :Crime Scene Investigation £2000

[Solar Sailer]

Machine designed by Pat Lawlor and released in November 2008. Based on the TV series.

I know it does not rank high on the ratings, but I and @astyy were quite surprised at the flow of the game. A good first pin in my opinion. Original speech by actor Robert David Hall who played Dr. Al Robbins. (This is quite a chatty pinball!)

Game has been throughly cleaned and some would say shopped.

New pinballs x 4
New leg levelers - I have an OCD with rusty, dirty old ones!
Backlight tube and ballast was missing and now replaced.
Re rubbed to clear rubbers.
Comets in the GI areas.
Superbrights LEDs everywhere else.
Original instruction book.
Playfield in good condition.
Pop bumpers are strong and very effective with the LED I have put in the camera above them.
Flashers are all LEDs.
New spring (green) and rubber tip in the plunger.
Plastics in good condition.
Centrifuge area nice and clean and a great feature and Dr Al starts handing out jackpots and double jackpots.
There is a Cliffy in the DNA too.
Side blades from Retro Refurbs.

Multi ball and Skull multi ball can make this a fast game.

In all a good fun game. Played it a few times since shopped and will keep it exercised until sold.

Cab has a few marks, this was an operator's machine after all.

Its located in Basingstoke and quite happy if you want to take a game or two in before deciding.

OK, there are a few CSIs sold in the past year and I think I am in the lower band price point but at the end of the day its depends if someone is getting an itch for a CSI.

Priced also as a nod of the head to CSI being first broadcasted in 2000.

So £2000, gets you a fun but underated pinball I think.

Delivery within 150 miles of Basingstoke is included in the price and will be delivered by me, as I like any excuse to hire a white transit van for the day and grab a Gregg's Sausage Roll and coffee.

Greater than 150 miles then Martin knows me and we will use than method. Remember Martin's timings will work if he has a Southern England Round Robin opportunity.

Reason for sell. I need the room. I have room for 6 machines, currently have 8 and two more on the way over the next few months.
Mrs Solar Sailer also notes 8 to me during pillow talk and claims of a headache are becoming more frequent.
