Like all, I try to avoid lubricating pinball machines

I am cleaning the drop target banks on my world poker tour this morning. It looks like the drop targets have been greased at some stage where the washers hold the drops in. I do not know whether this was factory spec or done by a past owner

Do folk know whether the stern drops are meant to be lubricated in any way please. Having cleaned the mech with isopropyl alcohol, it feels like it needs some unfortunately

Thanks.

No lube.
Clean off all the grime with whatever works for you then spray the plastic targets with a Pledge or Mr Sheen, this will give a coating that helps the targets to slide easily.
Job done.
