1 single flasher not working (but works in test mode)

Demolition man, car crash lane, top flasher - works in test mode but never flashes when top target is hit.
Target is working as it gives the award and plays sound effect but flasher doesn’t light.
Cables on connector J4 check out fine, all other flashers definitely work.
Scratching my head with this one - any ideas please?

Is it tied in with a flasher on the back box? Is that flasher working?

It’s not tied in with any other flasher, all other flashers are working.
It’s listed in the manual as ‘low power’ - not sure what difference that makes though.

Don’t know if this helps but...
In test mode, this will obviously only work whilst holding in coin door buttons - but when you release the buttons it flashes another 3 times, gradually getting dimmer with each flash.

...scrap that, all the ones run off the 8 driver aux board do that.

Try checking the switch matrix to see if any other switches are locked on.

Otherwise try reseating the ribbon cable between MPU and auxiliary board.

Just tried that, no joy. Nothing locked on in switch tests. Keep em coming, I’m certainly out of ideas. Q16 transistor checked out ok too.

Bump: any more ideas anyone - actually starting to think that it’s not in the code to light up when target is hit, any demo man owners that can verify this at all?

Bump again - continuity back to connectors and to other flashers all ok, flashes during the start of one of the multiball modes and in test mode, just doesn't flash when the car hits top target (its just a niggling problem as i can't get my head round it)
This lamp was completely black before I changed it if that helps.
