TZ shooter lane diverter issue

Hi, the metail diverter that opens and closes to decide what shooter lane a new ball in sent to, is playing up in my TZ - it works but it seems to be sticking or perhaps it is opening / closing too late?
If you get a multiball, it sometimes fails to move and so the second and or third balls end up in the manual shooter lane, instead of the auto shooter lane.
Also, if it does end up correctly in the auto shooter lane, the diverter doesnt move out of the way fast enough, causing the ball to misfire out into the playfield.

Any ideas what to look at first please?

Put a drop of lubricant on the pivot point. The return pressure is very slight so any resistance stalls the return.
