Hey gang
Which is the best media for a polish. I’ve got corn cob. Is Walnut shell better or is that more for getting the rust and crud off.

And how often do you change the media.

Thanks all

I'm interested in this as well, and what aditions do you add to the media to aid polishing / cleaning, such as Brasso ?

I don't normally bother with switching between different media. Just walnut with a slug of Autosol in does the trick

Same here, but I'm open to others advice as I've only tumbled a couple of times now.

How often should you change the media?

Change the media when it looks dirty, it’ll differ depending on how manky the parts you put in were. I’d generally clean anything really bad before tumbling.
