Tron bike. Anyone?

Tell me about it.. I spotted it on the TG fan page on facebook.



Amazing.. It look the nuts next to Sir Matt Busby on match day.
 
You'd have a a bit of bother using one as a topper though....

Sorry, I know this is an old thread...



But a mate of mine makes custom bikes for a living and is always on about getting me back on 2 wheels (haven't had a bike since I sold my V-Max in 2000). I sent him that video when I spotted it somewhere the other day with the comment "build me one of these and you might tempt me back on to 2 wheels again". I also tagged on the end "out of interest, how the hell do those wheels work??"



His reply nearly knocked me to the floor - well, his Mrs actually. Apparently, they're helicopter bearings (presumably he means rotor bearings? don't know, didn't ask!), but she reckoned the last time they got a quote for some they were £2000 per wheel - EEK!!



Best get saving then if anyone wants to make one of them.



Seriously though, how cool is that thing !!
