Hi.

I'm in the process of reversing a transformer wiring hack on my Volcano.

Can anyone confirm that the wiring in the photo matches the schematic? (Schematic is for 220v not 240v)

I have power from the on/off switch to the 120v lug on both transformers. I have neutral to both COM lugs. On both transformers I have a COM to 120v jumper.

It sort of seems right but doesn't match the schematic if translated literally.

Any help appreciated.

Ac input to the top 120v connectIon

Ac neutral to lower 0v

Link the 120v to 0v

Basically the two primary sections go in series to equal 240v
Thanks for the reply.

I assume by 0v you are referring to the COM lug?
If so then it is wired correctly.

yes, photo shows set to 240V

left hand side 120V winding
plus
right hand side 120V winding

in series = 240V

(although UK/Europe since 2003 harmonised to 230V)
cheers Bob
