wetransfer.com is pretty good can send 2Gb per shot without registering
Just upload them to google photos, put them in an album then share the album with them by sending them a link.
Someone might not want Googles all-seeing eyes to pry into the photos... I use wetransfer a lot for sending large audio and video files to people. Very simple service to use and up to 2GB free.

The photo's aren't sensitive but it's what happens after google gets them thats off putting. I'll try wetransfer.com
