Great read. These guys have some balls. I like it! (their attitude I mean not their balls).

I'm sure it will be a piece of cake. Still not sure why you'd go to all that effort with JPop. Must be some great new talent that could fit the bill without the backlash. WCS if the only game he made I liked.

Deep root has never contacted me or my company for any clarification on the dispute with Zidware. To make these statements is just bizarre. I upheld my contract including the 2 year NDA gag clause. What a joke

Please see the updated webpage from deep root Tech http://zidware.deeproottech.com. (Scroll to bottom of page). In summary, i would like to share the following statement :

Jim Askey (aka Applejuice or myPinballs) and deeproot Tech have reached an agreement transferring IP rights in and to Software for Zidware games to deeproot Tech for undisclosed consideration. Mr. Askey agrees to refrain from possessing, or performing any further work on, the Zidware software or related IP and shall promptly remove any online content regarding the same. Neither deeproot Tech nor Mr. Askey will be making any further comments about the agreement or any corresponding particulars.

Well that's a very interesting turn of events.

If it can be pulled out of the bag that would be a good thing all round, indeed. But it's a very large ask, so here's hoping.

Congratulations to Jim (myPinballs) for what I assume/hope was a personally lucrative deal!

I agree that those are the most likely, and while I’d love to see both I’d be much more interested in a Jurassic World pin. If one or both of these aren’t correct I’d guess the other possible candidates are Back to the Future, Fast and the Furious, Jaws, Zepellin, Muppets and Pulp Fiction.

Don’t see any of the others happening, although Harry Potter is still a theme I’d love to happen one day.
 
Well I was proven wrong on the first day - Jurassic World has been eliminated from the list.

Not sure if I'm a fan of this style of reveal I have to say, seems rather tedious.
 
Real shame 'My Little Pony' is not on the list but 'The Goonies' would be great!
 
And I think Munsters is next Kapow title, not Beatles.
 
The Goonies would be a fantastic pin - with all the traps, treasure, chases etc... Probably wouldn't have as big a market as some of the others though! Plus visually it could end up looking quite similar to POTC I guess.
