The Chicago Pinball Expo has been run by Rob Berk and Mike Pacak for 33 years. They have now split. Rob will be starting a new show called Pinball Palooza. It is not known what will become of Pinball Expo.

Mike was always less approachable but brought out the rare stuff to play. King Kong Aaron Spelling BBB Thunderball etc. Rob always the friendly welcome . hope it gets sorted as Chicago is the home of pinball. as the hobby has exploded other shows have simply eclipsed it. The one the dutch guys put on last year looked amazing. NLP now has more games than Expo. Back in the day it was unbeatable especially compared to the 25 games at the POA convention usually at the back of a pub.

- Kingpin Rules: "The original roms had two playing styles. One was the traditional X number of balls game. The other was an unlimited ball game that was tied to a power meter. As long as you continued to hit shots, your power meter would stay full, but when you started to miss stuff, your flippers would get weaker and weaker until the game was over"

- Kingpin Upgrades: "We also intend to give the owners the ability to play the original game and a new updated game"

Thanks for the updates, and the link to a good video of the Archer layout ( I thought they were all lost forever ). I hope Iron Maiden is based on that layout as rumoured, looks great with unique mechs which is what I like to see.
