Hello all,
Had a jolly good time with this but ship's finally decided to play up.
Sails and sinking all fine but ship will not raise back up.
I've removed the ship checked all wires/continuity.
Checked coils (however they seem to be purely for sails raising/lowering which is all fine.)
I've checked/lubed and tightened the mechs and nothing seems to be binding or catching
however it did feel smoother/easier to move by hand.
so...
I'm guessing its motor/clutch.....?
Is there anything I'm missing before i replace this?
In situ, ship will raise with a slight helping prod of my finger.
Am now going to try and upload video
Any advice would be much appreciated

More than likely the clutch at fault but a few things to check first ensure the ship is activating the ship sunk switch when in the sunk position
The clutch maybe just slipping and need tightening up or a screw is snapped
Your best bet is to remove the ship and give it a good service

Thanks Chris, will remove and clean up.
Been pretty lucky with my pins, apart from a flipper rebuild it's just been bulbs and cleaning so far.
So, is there a particular lubricant/grease recommended for pin mechs?
Also, what should i look for with regards knowing whether it's the motor and/or clutch?
Seen the clutch assembly is available but struggling for a supplier with the motor.....

My one was doing the same thing and it was because it wasn’t activating the ship sunk switch, check this first.

Switches all line up with the manual test.
So I've removed the ship and checked it over best I(complete novice) can and....potc.jpg
The left hand screw (on pic) on the clutch is spinning/wont tighten.
Right hand tightens.
Would this be the cause of problem as per video?
Can i address this or is it new clutch assembly?
Thanks for all your help so far. Really appreciate it

yep stripped down and snapped screw.
Guessi could probably try and drill it out etc. etc but for simplicity....
@PinballDaze can you send me ebay linkand I'll take it please.
Thanks again
