Spiderman doc Ock magnet

Hi

The Doc-Ock magnet on my Spiderman is holding on to the ball and not releasing when it should. I haven't investigated yet, but wondered if anyone has experienced magnets holding on too long before and what the issue may be?

Make sure you get the carbon steel ones like these, so the new ones don’t get magnetised:

I assume it will be driven by a transistor - if so, could be shorted on and keeping the magnet on, but as above, try the balls first.

The Doc Ock magnet is driven through Q3 and has its own dedicated brown and orange cable, should the balls trick not work.
