Side rail tape

I thought there was a thread on here about this, however couldn’t find it...

What do you guys use to tape the side rails onto a cab (as well as bolting obviously!)... wpc...

Does it have to be Foam does anyone know? or will standard double sided flat tape do??

I only get chance to do this once, so want to do it right

Look for automotive double sided tape

Just taking mine off, they were on solidly with black foam tape.

Looks like that's the way to go. I think the foam helps with tolerances in paint, decals, etc, I would think double sided sellotape wouldn't necessarily adhere properly all the way along the rail.
